Mark Wahlberg Coming to the South Shore Tonight

Actor Mark Wahlberg will screen his newest box office film “Broken City” at the Patriot Cinema at the Hingham Shipyard  tonight 7 p.m.

An after-screening party will then be held at Wahlburgers.

This will be the third time Wahlberg has showed  one of his new movies in Hingham.   In 2010,  he held the showing of the “Other Guys” and the “Fighter”  right at the Shipyard cinema across from his two restaurants. 

A Dorchester woman won a raffle to meet Wahlberg on Tuesday night.

Wahlberg last made an announced appearance in Hingham back in October 2011 for the grand opening of Wahlburgers when he brought over a half dozen Boston athletes with him to the Shipyard.  The event attracted hundreds of fans to Shipyard Drive.

“Broken City” opens  to the public on Jan. 18 and stars Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
