
Weymouth police believe a medical condition caused an elderly New Hampshire man to lose control of his vehicle on Middle Street over the weekend, injuring himself and another driver.
At 4:12 p.m. on Saturday, the 68-year-old Raymond, N.H. man was traveling north in the area of Middle Street and Castle Road when he veered into the Southbound lane and struck vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Weymouth woman, police said.
Both operators were transported to the South Shore Hospital. The extent of their injuries were not released by Weymouth police.

It was later determined that the New Hampshire man had a medical issue that contributed to the crash, according to Cpt. Richard Fuller.
No citations have been issued to the New Hampshire driver at this point.
