A group of young and eager cadets took part in a junior police academy program at the Weymouth Police Department on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, kids received a K9 demonstration, learned how to get out of a smoke filled building and learned how to put out a fire with a fire extinguisher. They also got to spray an actual hose from a fire truck as a team and participated in archary, according to the Weymouth Police Department's Facebook Page.
On Wednesday, the kids enjoyed a day trip to Canobie Lake Park.
The police department posted a full photo gallery of the weeks' events on Facebook, as well. The galleries can be seen here.
