Police Log: Assault, Shoplifting, and More

March 10

11:21 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Pleasant Street, Robert Miszkin, 60, of Weymouth was arrested with a warrant and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

9:56 p.m. - A 41-year-old male from Weymouth on Washington Street was placed in protective custody.

March 11

12:29 a.m. - After a pedestrian accident on Main Street, Kathleen Madden, 61, of Abington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation, failure to stop for police, and leaving the scene of personal injury.

11:22 p.m. - While investigating a disturbance at the Clapp Memorial Building on Middle Street, George Bush Jr., 31, of Quincy, was arrested with a warrant and charged with breaking and entering into a building in the nighttime for a felony, defacement of real or personal property, assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of possession of a Class B drug.

March 12

9:49 a.m. - Alonzo Casey, 28, of Weymouth, was arrested with a warrant at the Weymouth Police Department.

1:43 p.m. - Marcus Silvia, 20, of Rockland, was arrested at Wal-Mart on Middle Street and charged with shoplifting by concealing over $100 of merchandise.
