Police Log: Drug Offense, Larceny, and More

The following is from the Weymouth Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

February 5

5:07 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street, Francis McKenna. 28. of Quincy, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to violate drug law.

5:11 p.m. - While executing a search warrant on Pleasant Street, police made two arrests, Stephen Harding, 26, of Weymouth was charged with possession of a Class C drug and conspiracy to violate drug law. Chris Scatto, 31, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a Class C drug, subsequent offense, two counts of possession to distribute a Class D drug, subsequent offense, and conspiracy to violate drug law.

February 6

4:41 p.m. - During a police investigation of suspicious activity on Aster Circle, Matthew Gately, 37, of Weymouth, was arrested with a warrant.

8:43 - While police removed an unwanted person from a building on Ivy Road, Joshua Giachetti, 44, of Weymouth, was arrested with a warrant.

11:01 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Middle Street and Tara Drive, William Johns, 21, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and having an uninsured motor vehicle.

February 7

8:34 p.m. - Richard McCauley, 23, of Weymouth, was arrested with a default warrant at the intersection of Washington Street and Broad Street.

9:49 p.m. - Merina O’Connell, 30, of Brant Rock, was arrested at Wal-Mart on Middle Street and charged with larceny under $250 and possession of a Class E drug.

February 8

3:09 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, Douglas Richar, 34, of Sandwich, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class E drug.
