Police Log: OUI, Hit and Run, and More

January 23

11:17 p.m. - Investigating a case of breaking and entering at Rooney’s Gas Station on Main Street, a 29-year-old from Boston was arrested and charged with attempting to commit a crime, malicious destruction of property over $250, and possession of burglarious instrument.

1:23 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, Shannon Carroll, 40, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation, and failure to stop/yield.

3:00 a.m. - After a motor vehicle accident on Middle Street, Derek Chase, 23, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage.

3:14 p.m. - After a hit and run on Randolph Street, Ronald LaPlume, 45, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

January 25

2:05 p.m. - Michael Barron, 51, of Whitman, was arrested with a warrant on Washington Street.

7:47 p.m. - After a hit and run near Justice Hardware on Broad Street, James Gentry, 28, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of property damage, a marked lanes violation, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.
