Police: Repeat Oxycodone Dealers Arrested in Weymouth Apartment Drug Bust
During the sweep of the apartment, detectives recovered trafficking amounts of Oxycodone and several hundred dollars, and evidence of drugs dealing including several list of customers and amounts that the customers owed.

Police arrested two alleged repeat Oxycodone dealers after they observed a prescriptions drug sale at a Weymouth apartment on Tuesday.
Weymouth Police Captain Richard Fuller announced Wednesday that the Police Drug unit completed an investigation in the illegal sale of prescription pain killers by arresting Kevin L. Kessinger, age 54, Joannie C. Myers, 52 and her son, Ryan J. Thomas, 25 at their apartment located at 9 Tara Drive.
Fuller said detectives went to the apartment at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday after they received information from several sources that drugs were being sold out of apt. 8.

Narcotics detectives observed Kerri L. Deroche, 34 of Weymouth conduct a drug transaction in the apartment, Fuller said. When she was stopped by police, they recovered two Oxycodone pills which she admitted to having just purchased from Kessinger and Myers, police said.
She was then arrested and charged with possession of oxycodone and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Detectives were then able to obtain a search warrant for Kessinger and Myer’s apartment. As detectives continued to monitor the apartment, they observed Kessinger leave the apartment in his vehicle and he was taken into custody.
During the sweep of the apartment, detectives recovered trafficking amounts of Oxycodone and several hundred dollars in cash and arrested Myers and Thomas.
They also recovered other evidence of drugs dealing including several list of customers and amounts that the customers owed them commonly called “cuff” sheets, Fuller said.
Kessinger was charged with trafficking in Oxycodone, distribution of Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, and possession of class B morphine sulfate.
Myers was arrested and charged with trafficking in Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, distribution of Oxycodone, possession of class B Methadone, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Thomas was arrested and charged with possession of class B Methadone.
Kessinger and Myers were the subject of a previous narcotics investigation in October of 2008 while they were living at 90 Essex Heights Drive in Weymouth, police said. A search warrant was conducted in that case and the Weymouth couple was arrested for numerous drug violations including distribution of cocaine, Oxycodone and possession of an unlicensed and unsecured firearm. Both of then received probation on that case.
Kessinger was held overnight on $500 cash bail. Myers, Thomas, and Deroche were all released on personal recognizance. All four are due to be arraigned today in Quincy District Court.
