Previte's Market Speaks Out After Friday's Armed Robbery

Previte's Marketplace said they had guardian angels with them on Friday.

After two masked men robbed Previte's Marketplace with guns on Friday afternoon, the market released a statement saying their employees and customers are lucky to be alive.

"Just an update to let everyone know that all the employees and customers involved in Friday's robbery are ok," the market posted on Facebook. "We are very lucky and blessed to have such quick thinking employees. We had guardian angels that day and we appreciate all of you reaching out to us."


Police arrested  one suspect, Angelo Ayuso, 26, of Dorchester and charged him with armed and masked robbery, carrying a gun without a license, unlawful possession of  ammunition, and possession of a firearm in felony.

Hingham and Weymouth police continued to search for the second suspect who also stole an 85-year-old Hingham woman's vehicle after throwing her to the pavement.
