Residents Concerned With Compressor Station Site Cleanup Company
TRC Environmental held an informational session Monday.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A perceived conflict of interest in the energy company hoping to build a compressor station in Weymouth and the company tasked with designing a plan to remove contaminants from the site has residents asking questions.
The concerns came up during a Nov 13 information session held by TRC Environmental, the company that is supposed to come up with the plan to remove contaminants, according to the Patriot Ledger.
Weymouth District 1 Councilor Rebecca Haugh said the company helped Spectra Energy Enbridge obtain a favorable environmental assessment for the proposed station from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, making her uncomfortable with the proposal.
