South Boston Man Arrested in Weymouth For Damaging Vehicle

Weymouth police arrested a South Boston man for damaging a motor vehicle on Memorial Drive early Sunday morning.
At 3:16 a.m. on Sunday, police arrested Daniel McCarthy, age 46 for two counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle and for threatening to commit a crime on Memorial Drive, according to the police log.
The arrest was made after a caller reported a disturbance in the neighborhood.
