State Police Sobriety Checkpoint Coming to Norfolk County
The checkpoint will be set up Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

The Massachusetts State Police will implement a sobriety check point on an unnamed public road in Norfolk County Friday, Aug. 2 and Saturday, Aug. 3.
The Office of Colonel Timothy P. Alben, Superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police, announced the checkpoint in a statement Friday morning.
"The purpose is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public’s awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways," the statement said.
