The Arbella Insurance Foundation will be sponsoring a sun safety event at Wollaston Beach this Thursday, 7/10!
The Foundation is supporting Dana-Farber's Blum Family Resource Center Van, which will be at the beach from 12:30-4:30pm to provide skin cancer screenings and safety information.
The Blum Van provides screenings at no cost to the patient. The 39-foot, custom-designed van is outfitted with a classroom that can accommodate up to 15 people and a fully equipped exam room. The van visits health fairs, races/walks and other special events throughout Massachusetts and neighboring states to offer skin cancer and prostate cancer education.
