Weymouth Business Holds Open House Today to Display New Solar Panels
Kennedy Carpet Cleaners will hold a ribbon cutting for their new solar panels at 12 p.m.

Kennedy Carpet will hold an open house today to show off their recently installed a 104 kW solar photovoltaic system at their business on Libbey Industrial Parkway.
The PV system uses solar panels to convert sunlight into electricity and is not only saving the business money, but also generates income through the Massachusetts Solar Renewable Energy Credits Program, according to Munro Distributing Company, who installed the panels.
The system at Kennedy Carpet also qualified for Federal tax incentives.

“It beats paying taxes,” owner Jay Kennedy said of his new panels.
Kennedy Carpet cleaners will hold a ribbon cutting for their new solar panels at 12 p.m. today and provide details on the system’s production for interested guests. The public is welcome to attend.
