Weymouth Man Arrested After Bragging to Undercover Cop

A Weymouth man was bragging to an undercover cop that he was a "wanted man" and would probably end up in jail soon.

A 25-year-old Weymouth man was after he bragged to an undercover police officer that he was a wanted man.

Transit Police said William Mavrides of Weymouth struck up a conversation with the undercover officer at Quincy Center MBTA Station last Thursday and told the officer he was a wanted criminal.

Mavrides had outstanding warrants for Witness Intimidation, Larceny and Assault & Battery,  and was arrested, Transit Police said.
