Weymouth Man Wins $1M Mass. Lottery

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's new "Diamond Millions" instant ticket game. Joseph Watson is the game's fourth grand prize winner.

The grand prize on the ticket is a $1 million cash prize before taxes. Watson says he plans on using a portion of his winnings to buy a car. He bought his winning ticket at Butts & Bets II, 99 Pleasant St. in South Weymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

A Braintree man also won $1 million off of a ticket he bought in Weymouth.

There are 76 additional $1 million instant prizes in the "Diamond Millions" $30 instant game.
