Braintree Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

David Differ said he plans on using the prize money to buy a house and take a vacation.

BRAINTREE, MA — A local man hit the jackpot, winning $1 million on the Mass. Lottery's“$10,000,000 Big Money” instant game. David Differ, of Braintree, chose the one-time payment of $650,000 after taxes. Differ said he plans on using the prize money to buy a house and take a vacation.

He purchased the winning ticket at a Weymouth Cumberland Farms, located at 767 Main St. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

A Weymouth man also won $1 million off of a ticket he bought in Weymouth.
