Weymouth Police Arrest Three in Connection With Home Invasion, Armed Robbery

Three suspects were arrested last week after breaking into a Weymouth apartment and robbing the resident.

Two black males allegedly entered a Weymouth apartment on Wednesday, waved a firearm and stole the resident’s money, cell phones and video games.

The suspects Cadeem Brooks, age 18 of Weymouth, and Jayquan Monteiro, 19 of Quincy were arrested by Weymouth police along with Kamila Rocha, 21 of Quincy who drove their  get-away vehicle.

Weymouth police responded to the armed robbery on Memorial Drive on Wednesday and quickly observed  a vehicle matching that description of Rocha’s blue Ford Explorer on Middle St.

After police stopped the vehicle, witnesses positively identified the occupants as the suspects in the home invasion. 

Officers recovered the stolen money, cellular telephones, and video games from inside the vehicle, police said.

They also found a quantity of marijuana.  The firearm was not found after officers searched for it on the route of travel, police said.

The suspects were held without bail and transported to Quincy District Court on Thursday.
