Weymouth Police Want Children to See Them in a Positive Light
Police want to be seen as heros to children rather than the enemy.
The Weymouth Police Department does not want children to see them as the enemy. The department released a public service announcement on their Facebook Page last week that asked parents to speak highly of officers.
The announcement read:
“Parents: Please stop telling your children that we will haul them off to jail if they are bad. We want them to run to us if they are scared… Not be scared of us.”
