Weymouth Woman Charged with Fighting Near Primary School

Angela Coveney, 36, faces multiple charges.

WEYMOUTH, MA - A Weymouth woman was arrested after allegedly fighting her cousin outside of a public school.

Angela Coveney, 36, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to WBZ.

Sunday afternoon, police responded to a reported fight outside the Pingree Primary School. They found a woman bleeding from her mouth and nose.

The woman told police she was involved in a dispute with her cousin, Coveney. They had allegedly exchanged text messages to fight at the school.

Witnesses told police the victim was beaten up by Coveney and two other women and was threaten with a knife. Police found two knives at the scene.
