When is Christmas Tree Pick Up in Weymouth?

The Town will dispose of old Christmas trees left curbside on regular trash collection days next week.

Now that the holiday season is coming to an end in Weymouth, residents need to figure out what they will do with their leftover Christmas tree.

All residents need to do is put their Christmas trees curbside, and the Town of Weymouth will pick them up.

Christmas tree pick up will take place during the regular scheduled trash pick up days from Monday, Jan. 5 to Friday, Jan. 9 and Monday, Jan. 12 to Friday, Jan. 16.

All of the ornaments, lights, plastic and trim should be removed from the tree. Keep the trees a safe distance away from the trash barrels so they do not interfere with the automated trash.

Residents can also dispose of their Christmas trees at the yard waste drop-off, located at 55 Hollis St.

The Town of Weymouth is holding a special holiday trash collection in which residents can place up to two extra bags of trash per household at the curb on regular trash collection day.
