This Will Be the 10th Straight Weekend of Snow

We’re already a week into spring—but this is New England so it should come as no surprise that more snow is on the way.

At least 1-2 inches will cover the region Saturday. Parts of the state could get as much as 3 inches.

Here’s the Weymouth forecast:

• Friday: A chance of rain showers, mainly after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
• Saturday: Snow showers likely. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 37. North wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
• Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 6 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Parts of New York and Connecticut were blanketed early Friday.
