• HWRSD students attend One8 learning showcase in Boston (thereminder.com) — Wilbraham students in the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District recently traveled to Boston to showcase their STEM projects at the One8 Applied Student Learning Showcase. Green Meadows and Soule Road students presented water filtration designs to industry professionals, boosting their confidence and excitement for future STEM learning. District staff hope to expand participation for next year’s showcase.
   

• Rick's Place Receives $10,000 Grant to Bolster Grief Support Programs (healthcarenews.com) — Rick’s Place in Wilbraham has received a $10,000 grant from the Alternatives for Youth Foundation to keep its free grief support programs for children, teens, and families going strong. The funding will help sustain peer support groups, family-centered services, and community outreach that serve grieving families across Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut at no cost.
   

• Chef accused of wife's murder at Hotel UMass due in court (wwlp.com) — A Wilbraham resident charged in connection with his wife’s death at Hotel UMass is scheduled for a mental health hearing in Belchertown District Court. Prosecutors say he has pleaded not guilty while investigators from UMass and state agencies continue examining the case. The outcome could have significant legal and emotional impact for the wider Wilbraham community.
