Another Candidate Plans To Run For Vacant Select Board Seat

Lifelong Wilmington Resident Daryn Marsh is collecting nomination signatures to run for Selectman Ed Loud's seat.

WILMINGTON, MA -- Lifelong Wilmington resident and past selectman candidate Daryn Marsh said he plans to run for the seat on the Wilmington Board of Selectmen that will open up when Ed Loud resigns after the Feb. 11 meeting. Marsh joins We're One Wilmington President Jomarie O'Mahony, who took out nomination papers to run for the remaining year in the three-year term for Loud's seat.

"My heart is service to a community that has done so much for me and my family over the years and now it is time to give back," Marsh said in a Facebook post Tuesday announcing his candidacy. Marsh is a certified fire arms instructor with the National Rifle Association who was one of seven candidates to run for two open seats on the Wilmington Board of Selectmen in 2002.
