ICYMI: 'Alert' Resident Aids in Arrest of Wilmington Car Break-In Suspects

WILMINGTON, MA — Police are lauding the alertness of a Wilmington resident who aided in the arrest of three suspects in numerous car break-ins Tuesday morning.

The Wilmington Police Department announced on Facebook that an 'alert resident' quickly called 911 early this morning after she allegedly witnessed two men going through vehicles early Tuesday morning on Beeching Avenue. The police department's midnight shift was able to respond and arrest three suspects who allegedly broke into 'Numerous vehicles.

Police continued to say that the suspects will be arraigned on multiple charges in Woburn District Court Tuesday. Police also ask residents who's cars were broken into to call the police department at (978) 658-5071 to retrieve stolen property.

The police department was not immediately available for further information.
