Opinion: Sullivan, Fasulo For Wilmington Selectmen

Wilmington resident Steve Contrada says the two challengers are immune to the special interests backing the incumbents.

The following is a letter to the editor submitted by Steve Contrada in support of Rob Fasulo and Suzanne Sullivan, who are running for Wilmington Selectmen on April 27.

This is my prediction of what you’re going to see during this campaign. Most politicians and special interests in town will be endorsing and helping the good ole' boys. You see, the power structure needs to stay in place to control their agenda. It’s not about what the people want. It’s about power and control. People of Wilmington need to take back this control and their government. We need to break this grip of control and special interest from the good ole' boys and make changes to the Board of Selectman in Wilmington. The residents of Wilmington have the opportunity to make these changes with proven leaders who will fight for the hard working people of Wilmington. Leaders who will be open and transparent. Who will listen to the community. Let’s cast votes for those proven leaders, Rob Fasulo and Suzanne Sullivan to the Wilmington Board of Selectman. Join me in supporting these two candidates. They are our best hope for a change in Wilmington.
