Safe Shoveling Tips!

Get a good workout shoveling without getting hurt!
Here are some tips to help:

  • Warm up first with Walking Lunges  (see photo)
  • Push when you can
  • Bend at the hips, instead of rounding your spine 
  • Keep a light load
  • Lift by extending your legs and hips; back nice and straight (see photo)
Shoveling can be very strenuous.  Please consult your physician first.
