Stolen Patriots Helmet Returned to Foxborough Bar
The helmet was taken by a man in a Tom Brady jersey who police believe is from the Wilmington area.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A stolen Patriots football helmet autographed by the 2014 Super Bowl team has been returned to it's rightful owner.
This week, police released footage from Aug. 11 of a man taking the memorabilia from Skipjack's at Patriot Place. It didn't take long for the restaurant to receive a package that included the helmet, cash for the person's unpaid tab, and an apology letter from the alleged theif.
Police don't have the suspect's identity but believe the man is from the Wilmington area.

In the video, a man in a Tom Brady jersey can be seen jumping the bar, grabbing the helmet, and wrapping the stolen item in his jersey before walking out.

Justin Hunter, who is the assistant general manager of Skipjack’s Seafood Restaurant, told NBC Providence that they plan on having the helmet inspected for fingerprints.
