Thousands Vote Early In Wilmington State Primary Election
Nearly 3,000 ballots have been cast early and by mail, as of Friday morning, according to the town clerk's office.
WILMINGTON, MA — Nearly 3,000 ballots had already been cast in the state primary in Wilmington as of Friday morning, town clerk Christine Touma-Conway said.
As of 10:15 a.m., 2,810 ballots had been either mailed in or cast in person. Over 4,000 ballots were mailed out by the town clerk's office.
All voters were eligible to vote by mail in the 2020 state primary, and in-person early voting lasted seven days, ending Friday at 4:30 p.m.
