Large Pine Tree, Utility Pole Causing Power Outages on Roberts Road: Police

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Police are reporting a downed and utility pole at 24 Roberts Road, and residents in the area are without power service.

According to a tweet from the Wilmington Police Department, there is a large pine tree and a utility pole down on Roberts Road. The entrance to Boutwell Street will be closed, police say.

The Reading Municipal Light Department says that power is out in the Roberts road area. The power company estimates that power will return to the area in approximately three hours.
