Wilmington Coronavirus Update: 14 Positive Cases, 16 Quarantined

The number of cases in town more than tripled in two days.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington now has 14 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, the Health Department said Thursday. Another 16 residents are in quarantine. Just two days ago, the town had only four confirmed cases.

There are now over 2,000 known cases of the virus statewide and 25 deaths.

Rapid increases in confirmed cases in part reflect increased testing. Total tests administered has rapidly increased over the last week.
