Wilmington Election 2018: Who's In, Who's Out?
The two selectmen up for reelection have taken out nomination papers, signaling they will run for reelection.

WILMINGTON, MA -- Selectmen Kevin Caira and Greg Bendel took out nomination papers from the Wilmington Town Clerk's office, signaling they will run for reelection in the town election on April 27. Candidates have until March 8 to return nomination papers with signatures from 50 registered Wilmington voters to have their name included on the ballot.
There is potential for a contested school committee race with three seats up for reelection. Incumbent Jo Newhouse, who was appointed to her seat in August, took out nomination papers, as did Jesse Fennelly, a runner-up in last year's school committee election. Incumbents Julie Broussand and Tom Talbot have yet to take out papers. But if they run for reelection, that fould set up a four-way race for the three seats.
The only other candidate to take out papers is Robert Peterson Sr., who would be running for reelection to the Shawsheen Tech School Committee.
