For trick-or-treating, residents are encouraged to take precautions to prevent spreading the coronavirus while they celebrate Halloween. Eaton asked that residents stay home if they are not feeling well, to consider wearing a mask, to avoid large gatherings, to maintain six feet of distancing while trick-or-treating and to regularly wash or disinfect hands.
Eaton noted that you likely will not know the health complications or vulnerabilities other residents have, which might discourage them from opening their doors to strangers.
