Wilmington Man Wins $200,000 A Year For Life Lottery Game
Alexander Furlong plans to invest some of his winnings, as well as make some charitable donations.

WILMINGTON, MA -- A Wilmington man will get $200,000 a year for the next 20 years -- minus taxes, of course -- after winning the Mass Lottery's $200,000 a Year For Life instant game. Alexander Furlong purchased his ticket at the Speedway on Main Street in Wilmington. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Furlong, who chose the annual annuity over the lump sum payment, told lottery officials he plans to invest some of his winnings and will donate some of the winnings to charity. Furlong was the second top-tiered prize winner in the contest, which made its debut at the start of this year. The lottery said there are still three $200,000 a year prizes and ten $1 million prizes available in the $10 scratch ticket game.
If Furlong's name sounds familiar, it may be because the 2012 Wilmington High School graduate was the first in school's history to repeat as state sectional wrestling champion at 189 pounds. He was also a two-way lineman and captain of the Wilmington High School football team.
