Wilmington's Haunted Woods is Open for the Season

Visit the Haunted Woods Oct. 24 and 25 and see what's new for 2014.

Haunted Woods is back in business for the Halloween season in Wilmington.

Friends Productions, which puts on the event, says this year’s event has bigger and better props than ever before. Additionally, this year’s Haunted Woods has two brand new scenes including “Farmers Worst Nightmare” and a surprise scene you have to see for yourself to find out what it is. This year’s haunt includes a 3D glow/clown room, bloody bathroom/meat shop room, cemetery and junkyard.

Haunted Woods opened over the weekend and is open again on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. (Last ticket sales end at 9:30 p.m.) Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.

The Haunted Woods is located at the Harnden Tavern, 430 Salem St. in Wilmington. Free parking is located behind the Harnden Tavern off Woburn Street. No parking is allowed in front of or next to the carriage house.
