Woburn Street Re-Opened After Tree Fell on Power Lines

Part of Woburn Street was closed Thursday after a tree fell on power lines.

WILMINGTON, MA — Traffic on Woburn Street has returned to normal now that the street has been re-opened to traffic. Wilmington Police announced to residents via Twitter that the road had been closed due to a tree that had fallen on power lines.

The announcement of the road re-opening came approximately 35 minutes after the initial announcement. The Reading Municipal Light department is not reporting any outages.
