Woburn Street Work Continues Thursday
Traffic will be detoured at the intersection of Woburn and Lowell.

WILMINGTON, MA – Work on Woburn Street will continue Thursday, the police department said. The roadway will close at the intersection of Lowell Street at 8:30 a.m. The closure is part of ongoing sewer line construction.
Wilmington Police said traffic will be detoured using Eames Street to Main Street, and back to Lowell Street. Customers of Lucci's supermarket and other businesses in the plaza near the intersection can enter via Woburn Street northbound.
The work is part of a sewer extension project that started last month. The privately funded construction project is necessary to extend sewer service to the new construction at 168 Lowell Street. Questions should be directed to the Wilmington Engineering Division at (978) 658-4499.
