WINCHESTER—Businessman Donald Trump and Secretary Hillary Clinton took the overall prize in the Commonwealth, but how did they do on a more local level?

According to data aggregated by the New York Times, Trump won every county in Massachusetts with at least 40 percent of the Republican vote. However, Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders seemed to split the counties down the middle, with Clinton winning the more populous regions of the state.

As we already know, Clinton took approximately 60 percent of the Winchester vote on the Democratic ticket. Clinton also took 51.8 percent of the vote in Middlesex County, a number that shows her dominance in Winchester.

Trump's county totals are actually improved over his results in Winchester, as he earned 46.8 percent of the county vote while only earning 40 percent in town.

In Middlesex County, Trump is trailed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich (20.5 percent), Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (19.3 percent) and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (8.7 percent). Clinton leads Sanders, who carries 47 percent of the county vote.
