Acera School to host “Assessment Day” on December 7

Parents interested in understanding their child’s learning style and identifying potential challenges will have an opportunity to meet with professional neuropsychologist at Acera School in Winchester on Saturday, December 7.

The Wechsler intelligence tests, which include the WISC, the WAIS, and the WPPSI, are the most widely used intelligence and neuropsychological assessments. Human intelligence is a complex ability involving a variety of abilities and skills, and the assessments are intended to capture this intellectual diversity.

The testing is divided into two major categories, verbal and performance, which are further broken down into subtests to include questions of general knowledge, arithmetic, vocabulary, puzzles, mazes, and pictures.
