Board members praised his integrity and communication, while urging faster responses and better public updates, and noted the contract was structured cautiously because he became the sole remaining finalist.
   

• Winchester holds $600K for Eversource bills it hasn't received (winchesternews.org) — Winchester is holding $600,090 in its books for Eversource electricity bills it hasn't received, after roughly six months without invoices, leaving the town unsure if that amount will be enough. Comptroller Stacie Ward and Town Manager Christopher Senior say they're pressing the utility for answers as officials prepare for fall Town Meeting and calculate free cash estimated above $21 million.
