Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Initial Certification teaches rescue skills in CPR and choke-saving for adults, infants and children. This class meets for one night from 6 to 10 p.m. This is a CPR certification course, and participants must pass a written exam and successfully complete a skills evaluation in CPR and chokesaving and AED rescue skills. This class is suitable for daycare providers, fitness instructors, police, firefighters, security guards, lifeguards and anyone expected to perform CPR in the workplace.
