Bossi's Automotive Granted Car Sales License

Winchester’s Board of Selectmen met Monday night to discuss an array of topics, including Bossi’s Automotive’s bid to acquire an auto sales license.

The board granted Bossi’s a class II used auto sales license. The automotive business, located on 9 Chapin Street, now has the permission to acquire and sell used cars from their location.

The Bossi family has served the Winchester community for over 37 years. They were forced to relocate from Swanton Street after a CVS planned on moving in nearby. Upon relocating to Chapin Street, Bossi’s automotive needed to reapply for a license.

Bossi’s must meet some requirements though, according to the Board of Selectmen. The business will be required to pave its parking lot and improve parking situations at the site, among other changes.

Only a few argued against granting Bossi’s a license.
