Winchester Town Hall Summer Hours

Town Manager Richard Howard has announced the implementation of a revised work week for Winchester Town Hall and related administrative offices effective Monday, July 1, 2013 and continuing through Friday, September 27, 2013.   The revised summer hours of operation are as follows:

Monday           8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday          8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday     8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday        8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday            8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon

TOWN HALL OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY, JULY 4 AND FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2013

There will be no change in the Transfer Station hours or for Police, Fire, DPW and Library services.  The Department of Public Works administrative office, however, will follow the summer schedule.

Mr. Howard stated: “While the amount of workforce hours remains the same, this change is in keeping with past adjustments for summertime activities.  It is intended to provide residents with additional times to use Town Hall offices, and also to shut down operations when there is minimal activity.  We will evaluate the advantages that the changes in hours presents to the community for long term planning as well.”
