Teens: Pottery on the Wheel

This weekly class is open to beginning students who have never used a wheel as well as students with prior wheel throwing experience, looking to advance their skills.

First time students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel including centering and pulling walls to create bowls, cups and plates as well as how to trim and glaze pieces before the final firing.

Experienced students will take their work to the next level: adding attachments like handles and spouts and carving and sculpting texture. All students will have their own wheel for the entirety of the class period.

Course fee includes access to tools, clay, and glazes.
