Perfect for kids (ages 4+) and their grown-ups—parents, grandparents, caregivers, and loved ones of all kinds are welcome as we celebrate creativity and connection this Mother’s Day weekend.
One adult + one child included. Add more family members for $25 each. All materials provided—just bring your imagination!

Family FUN - Painting Flowers, Bees & Butterflies! 

Get ready for a colorful, creative mini adventure in art! This 2-hour workshop is a fun “taste” of our weeklong summer program, giving kids a chance to explore the vibrant world of yarn painting in a quick, hands-on experience.
Students will design and create their own mini cartoon portrait using bright yarn to build texture, color, and personality. Inspired by the bold, expressive style of traditional yarn art, kids will learn how to use line, shape, and color to turn simple drawings into fuzzy, eye-catching masterpieces.
This workshop is all about creativity and self-expression—perfect for young artists who love to draw, experiment, and try something new. By the end, each student will take home a one-of-a-kind yarn portrait that’s playful, personal, and full of character!
Loved this project? This workshop is just the beginning! In our full summer program, Summer 2026: Yarn Painting &amp; Weaving: Color, Texture &amp; YOU! (ages 8–12), students dive deeper into yarn painting, explore colorful pattern design inspired by global art traditions, and learn to weave their own textiles on a loom. It’s a full week of creativity, texture, and imagination you won’t want to miss!

Join us for a relaxing Saturday evening of creativity, conversation, and a little sipping while you paint your very own ceramic wine goblet. Our talented instructor will guide you through glazing and surface decoration techniques, then you’ll have the freedom to design a goblet that’s uniquely yours.
Once the workshop wraps up, we’ll carefully fire your piece in our kiln to bring out the colors and create a durable, food-safe finish. Your finished goblet will be ready for pickup in about two weeks—and perfect for enjoying your favorite drink at home.
We’ll also have wine, non-alcoholic mocktails, and light snacks on hand to keep the good vibes flowing while you create.

Andover Choral Society directed by Matthew Buono and New England Classical Singers directed by David Hodgkins&nbsp;present "Songs of Freedom", a musical celebration of our nation's 250th Anniversary. The concert offers an exploration of choral music created at pivotal times in American history, from the 1700s to the 21st&nbsp;century. Themes of peace, conflict, gallantry, pioneering, and enduring hope resonate throughout this program – all presented by two of the Merrimack Valley’s most beloved choral groups. This special performance features a guest appearance by The Danvers Alarm List Company, an 18th-century living history reenactment group, creating a unique patriotic experience.&nbsp;Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students.
