Get ready for a magical adventure! Join us for a super FUN party perfect for kids who love fairies, gnomes, and all things magical! Each child will create their very own mini enchanted garden, complete with a fairy or a gnome (their choice!) and even a tiny bike for their new friend to ride.

We’ll also enjoy:

Join us for a relaxing Saturday evening of creativity, conversation, and a little sipping while you paint your very own ceramic wine goblet. Our talented instructor will guide you through glazing and surface decoration techniques, then you’ll have the freedom to design a goblet that’s uniquely yours.
Once the workshop wraps up, we’ll carefully fire your piece in our kiln to bring out the colors and create a durable, food-safe finish. Your finished goblet will be ready for pickup in about two weeks—and perfect for enjoying your favorite drink at home.
We’ll also have wine, non-alcoholic mocktails, and light snacks on hand to keep the good vibes flowing while you create.

Winchester Community Music School

Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts &amp; crafts, food trucks, and more! Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock. It’s a popular event that many community members attend—and look forward to—every year. There will also be a sensory-friendly room available this year! Andover Choral Society directed by Matthew Buono and New England Classical Singers directed by David Hodgkins&nbsp;present "Songs of Freedom", a musical celebration of our nation's 250th Anniversary. The concert offers an exploration of choral music created at pivotal times in American history, from the 1700s to the 21st&nbsp;century. Themes of peace, conflict, gallantry, pioneering, and enduring hope resonate throughout this program – all presented by two of the Merrimack Valley’s most beloved choral groups. This special performance features a guest appearance by The Danvers Alarm List Company, an 18th-century living history reenactment group, creating a unique patriotic experience.&nbsp;Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students. This weekly class is open to beginning students who have never used a wheel as well as students with prior wheel throwing experience, looking to advance their skills.
First time students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel including centering and pulling walls to create bowls, cups and plates as well as how to trim and glaze pieces before the final firing.
Experienced students will take their work to the next level: adding attachments like handles and spouts and carving and sculpting texture. All students will have their own wheel for the entirety of the class period.
Course fee includes access to tools, clay, and glazes.Class runs 5/04 - 6/22
