Concert For Young Kids in Winchester

The performance on Sunday will tell the story of a young traveler who finds inspiration in folk music through song and dance.

Kids can watch a performers dance and sing in authentic Eastern European costumes at a concert in Winchester this Sunday.

The Winchester Community Music School performance of music, song and dance will tell the story of a young traveler who finds inspiration in folk music, according to the WCMS newsletter.

“A Musical Village: The Story of Béla Bartók” is a show for kids ages 3 to 7.

The curtains open at 3 p.m. at WCMS, 407 HIghland Ave.

The concert features the work of Hungarian composer Béla Bartók.

The program is written by Lois Shapiro and directed and produced by Winchester Community Music School faculty member Adriana Ausch.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets cost $5.
