David A. Kelly visits Book Ends to talk Baseball and Mysteries! In his popular early chapter book Ballpark Mystery series, cousins Kate and Mike travel to major league ball parks around the country with Kate's sports reporter mother, watching games and solving mysteries. David is also the author of Babe Ruth and the Baseball Curse, an early chapter book that is part biography and part history of 'the curse', as well as Miracle Mud: Lena Blackburne and the Secret Mud that Changed Baseball, a picture book biography that tells the story of Lena Blackburne and his baseball rubbing mud, which teams used to take the shine off of new baseballs.
