Come hang out and create beautiful handmade books and notecards from 1PM-3PM at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center (246 Market St., Lowell)! Join park staff and women from around the Lowell community for an afternoon of creating art, tea, music, and conversation. Learn how women in Lowell’s past used bookmaking as a way to document their stories, while creatively documenting your own. Stick around at 3PM for a short "Radical Women" walking tour and dialogue on the incredible history of women’s labor activism in Lowell. Come prepared to explore outdoors and share your own reflections and experiences! FREE. Drop-in artmaking 1-3PM; tour at 3PM.
