"Edible Landscape Design"

Make Your Garden Look and Taste Wonderful This Summer!
Join the friendly local gardeners of the Somerville Garden Club at their April meting for a presentation by Barbara Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and enthusiastic grower of new and heirloom vegetables. Starting with a brief history of food gardening, she will move on to the concepts to consider when adding edible plants to your ornamental garden or edible flows to vegetable beds. Barbara will also demonstrate how container combinations can help the urban gardener with just a patch of sun grow their own delicious and beautiful healthy food.
The Somerville garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; all meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square T station. You do not have to be a Somerville resident to join the Somerville Garden Club. To learn more about the club please visit www.somervillegardenclub.org.
