EN KA DAY AT MAHONEY'S - WEDNESDAY, MAY 13TH
On Wednesday, May 13th, Mahoney's Rocky Ledge Garden Center will again host En Ka Day at their Winchester location at 242 Cambridge Street.

For more than 50 years, Mahoney’s has partnered with the En Ka Society to support grants to Winchester’s many charitable and civic organizations. On Wednesday, May 13th, Mahoney’s Rocky Ledge Garden Center will again host En Ka Day at their Winchester location at 242 Cambridge Street.
The early En Ka street fairs included a plant table. In April 1957, the fair’s plant committee sponsored a plant sale at a member’s home on Grove Street, which continued for a few years. Meanwhile, the first Mahoney’s Garden Center opened on Cambridge Street in 1959. In 1964, Mahoney’s began to host the En Ka Garden Sales. For some years advertised as Easter plant sales, the events always took place in the spring and were eventually moved to May to be scheduled around the fair dates. The tradition continues to the present time with Mahoney’s annually hosting a shopping day at Winchester Rocky Ledge Garden Center and generously donating a portion of their proceeds from that day to the En Ka Society.
This year’s En Ka Day at Mahoney’s will take place on May 13th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Main Greenhouse. Support this long standing tradition by purchasing flowers, bushes, trees, vegetable plants, lawn and garden supplies, landscaping, planters, gift certificates and more! Plan ahead and you can buy gift certificates now for birthdays, holiday shopping and other special events and you can help support dozens of well-deserved non-profit organizations!
